Riker of New York wit tissue guarded illustration plates, containing 18 pages of handwritten sentiments from the 1850s, written to a girl named Betsy from friends in Haverhill, Massachusetts, beginning with a five page letter from her pastor, Albert H. Matin. Foxing and mild damp staining to pages, soiling and wear to covers, one inch tear to leather at upper spine. Item #8617
