First Canadian editon of this popular handbook on marriage first published two years earlier in London. The author, a Northern Ireland born Army chaplain, covers many aspects of marriage, including parenthood (i.e. a chapter titled "nursing fathers" on the importance of their role as parent), honeymoons, and the advantages of disadvantages of getting married to begin with. A very good copy with a bit of rubbing to covers, minor soiling and cracking to pastedowns. Item #5878
