Texas and California: 1938-1950. Album containing 156 photographs placed into photo corners within a suede album binding with decorative Yellowstone National Park Cover. Each photograph is accompanied by a handwritten caption on the adjacent album leaf. The album belonged to a serviceman with an Ordnance Group at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo Texas. Approximately 90 images depict the serviceman's time in Texas, including many images taken on the base with his unit as well as images of female companions. There are also five photos depicting the compiler's time at a base in Aberdeen, Maryland, as well as many family photographs taken in Southen California, mainly in Hemet.
