New York: National Woman Suffrage Publishing Co, Circa 1912. 12mo, green cloth with black lettering, 32, 46 pp. According to the title page, this was a "collection of eight popular booklets covering together practically the entire field of suffrage claims and evidence: designed especially for the convenience of suffrage speakers and writers and for the use of debaters and libraries." Among the arguments in favor of suffrage are essays by Jane Adams and Carrie Chapman Catt. The book underwent several revisions, eventually becoming the "Blue Book" of Women Suffrage in 1917. Title and coprighy page excised, front endpaper with tear and a corner torn, page facing Jane Addams's essay "The Modern City" is similarly torn with some loss of text, mild wear along edges.
