Includes recipes for Arabic and Syrian cuisine like kibbe, boughol, grape leaves, sesame cookie, Syrian Cole Slaw, Turkish Coffee, Thin Syrian Bread, and more. The inclusion of Arabic and Syrian names in parentheses only, as well as a a glossary of Arabic spices, suggest that the book was intended, at least partially, for a Western audience. Harvard and New Hampshire State Library only in OCLC for this 1959 first edition. OCLC also locates editions published in 1978 (one copy) and 1987 (one copy).
