A community cookbook from Stockton, California, with recipes attributed. Recipes include pigeon on toast, Belgian Hare, prune pudding, curry, enchilada sauce, chili con carne, castoeten, and more. The book also prints chapters for invalid cookery, household hints, and medical recipes. OCLC contains entries for a 1903 edition and this 1907 edition, with six locations for the latter. Staining and chipping to wrappers, chip to upper corner of title page, staining to first and last few leaves, tears to first couple of pages, handwritten recipe for sponge cake on last leaf.
