Los Angeles: California Fruit Growers Exchange, Circa 1920s. 24 printed cards, each 5.5 x 3.25", together with the original printed mailing envelope. An early collection of recipe cards issued by the California Fruit Growers Exchange. Each card contains a color illustration. These include a pair of instructional cards on "Ways to Serve Oranges for Breakfast", and "To Remove Pulp From Sunkist Oranges." Recipes include Sunkist Lemon Pie, pure orange juice--hotel style, orange peanut salad, orange cake, Sunkist Lemonade, and more. Very good with bit of foxing to a few cards, tears to envelope.
